About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst 5 at BC Forward is responsible for performing data analysis, report building, and data modeling to enhance self-service capabilities and streamline decision-making processes. This role focuses on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality visualizations and reports. The position is fully remote and is offered as a contract for 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction and transformation, report development, and data modeling.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality visualizations and reports.
• Automate systems and processes to develop operating efficiencies and enhance current capabilities.
• Streamline report generation and provide resources for informed decision-making, including self-service tools.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on systems issues to ensure quick service restoration.
• Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely manner while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field required.
• 4+ years' experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business analysis.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and Business Analytics or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with Query languages (SQL, Kusto, Cosmos, etc.).
• Documented experience with creating leadership-level views to drive actionable and strategic decision making.
