About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst III - People Analytics at Sutter Health is responsible for creating complex database reports and providing analytical and technical support for various projects and initiatives. This hybrid role requires working in the Sacramento office two days a week and involves risk assessment, work plan development, and data validation to ensure accurate reporting that meets client needs. Experience with Workday analytics and reporting is preferred, along with skills in report writing and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Create complex database reports based on end-user specifications and requirements.
  • Provide analytical and technical support for complex requests, projects, or initiatives.
  • Participate in risk assessment and work plan development processes.
  • Perform data validation to ensure reports are accurate and meet client needs.
  • Determine if programming is created and create specifications for developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, and specifying user requirements.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards to support business requirements.
  • Technical skills in report writing and reporting tools.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with Workday Prism and Extend.
