About the position

The Department of Economic Security, Division of Aging and Adult Services, seeks an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intermediate with the Information Technology Unit. DAAS supports at-risk Arizonans to meet their basic needs and to live safely, with dignity and independence. Services and programs reach a diverse population of Arizonans. This position works with general supervision and exercises limited independent judgment within well-defined parameters. You will work closely with Adult Protective Services (APS) leadership teams to determine business requirements, priorities, define key business metrics; develop, design, and documents workflows, dashboards, alerts, reports, user guides, and other BI-related information/data.

Responsibilities

  • Provides design support for the development of business intelligence solutions
  • Participates in planning process including inception, development, testing and delivery of solutions
  • Provides input into business requirements and determines optimal solutions to meet needs
  • Identifies new technology opportunities with enterprise-wide impact, research business problems and creates solutions
  • Establishes database procedures and standards; assists in database design

Requirements

  • Prefer a Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • 1 year experience performing business intelligence or data analysis or software development work including use of Tableau or similar tools and SQL
