About the position

As a Business Intelligence Analyst (Enterprise Data Warehouse) at CrowdStrike, Inc., you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to work alongside business operations analysts, business leaders, data/BI engineers, and other team members to deliver impactful technical data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. This involves defining and developing metrics that are significant to the enterprise, ensuring that the data insights you provide are actionable and relevant to the business's needs. In this role, you will gather metrics requirements and determine the necessary data and reporting insights to deliver datasets from the Snowflake data warehouse to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will be tasked with developing multiple complex SQL queries and views, pulling from various complex data sources, synthesizing, and formatting the data to prepare it for distribution to stakeholders. Additionally, you will design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Business Intelligence solutions using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online, which will help display results and key insights effectively. Your expertise in data analysis and analytics will be essential, as you will need to communicate data findings effectively to the broader team and partner with them to drive prioritization and shape metrics design and implementation decisions. You will also collaborate closely with Enterprise Data Warehouse BI and Data Engineers to design data integration, metric definitions, and SLAs, unlocking the data needed to power reports, analyses, and high-quality decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Gather metrics requirements and determine data and reporting insights to deliver datasets from Snowflake data warehouse to business stakeholders.
  • Develop multiple complex SQL queries and views from various data sources, synthesizing and formatting data for distribution.
  • Design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Business Intelligence solutions using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.
  • Serve as the analytical owner within cross-functional business teams, effectively communicating data findings and driving prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Warehouse BI and Data Engineers to design data integration, metric definitions, and SLAs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis and analytics as a core skill.
  • Expertise in prototyping and designing metrics, Tableau visualization, dashboards, and reports.
  • Expert level proficiency with SQL, Data Models, and data/BI platform applications such as Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Experience manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, and using disparate data sources and tools.
  • Understanding of integrated business processes in applications such as SalesForce, Netsuite ERP, Workday.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working for a SaaS security company and building SaaS metrics.
  • Familiarity with Sales (CPQ, etc.), Marketing, and Finance (Q2C, R2R, P2P) metrics.
  • Tableau / Snowflake Certification.
