About the position
The Business Intelligence Analyst / SQL Developer role at TCI involves developing insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, alongside writing SQL queries and procedures to support reporting initiatives. This position requires strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities, as the analyst will work directly with pharmaceutical clients and internal business users.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative visualizations in Microsoft Power BI.
- Write SQL queries and procedures to support reporting initiatives.
- Create custom reports and modify existing queries to enhance productivity.
- Perform predictive modeling, data analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Work on development involving flat file data feeds and create ad-hoc reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in a corporate IT environment.
- Exceptional relationship management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client engagements.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI Premium reporting tool or R.
