About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at Liberty Bank is responsible for administering data applications and executing the bank's business-reporting needs. This role involves ensuring that reports are accurately generated to meet the requirements of various business units while minimizing data duplication. The analyst will utilize their technical skills to troubleshoot reporting applications, develop complex reports, and provide support to end-users, all while promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Administer data applications and execute the bank's business-reporting needs.
  • Gather and analyze data, perform research, and use diagnostic tools to resolve problems.
  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting to determine the root cause of issues with reporting applications.
  • Participate in technical training programs and self-directed learning to support business units.
  • Develop, design, write, and implement effective relational database reports and data file outputs.
  • Analyze report requests to ensure business objectives are met and provide technical assistance.
  • Maintain standard reports, templates, and queries for customized report development.
  • Develop complex reports using Crystal Reports, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Design and develop stored procedures for standard reporting activities.
  • Document all report generation, data processing, and data management procedures.
  • Maintain security levels, report groups, and user access for applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify design gaps and validate reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting banking applications, including systems configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in creating reports and SQL expressions, including formulas and parameters.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of ERD diagrams is preferred.
  • Banking experience is a plus.
