About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at Armstrong Bank is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. This role involves documenting requirements, defining project scope and objectives, and formulating systems that align with the bank's overall business strategies. The analyst will utilize relational database concepts and client-server principles to enhance operational efficiency and support business processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that interactions with Bankers meet or exceed Bank standards as identified in the SMILE program.
• Follow proper security procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate teamwork within the department and bank-wide.
• Assist co-workers with tasks outside of job responsibilities.
• Contribute to the bank's efforts in achieving its goals.
• Attend required staff, sales, and training meetings.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions and gathering information.
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities and write specifications.
• Develop workflow tools that automate redundant tasks to create efficiencies across the bank.
• Produce reports to aid with business processes.
• Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; form project teams and establish project budgets.
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, and publishing progress reports.
• Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models.
• Provide 1st level IT support to all users of Bank systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
