About the position

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Kaysville, Utah. This contract position involves acting as a bridge between system users and technical teams, driving process improvements, and delivering strategic solutions tailored to business needs. The role requires collaboration with users and technical teams to translate requirements into system specifications, as well as the development and management of system processes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and technical teams to translate requirements into system specifications.
• Develop, modify, and manage system processes, reports, and schedules.
• Evaluate, plan, and implement system upgrades and new integrations.
• Create and enhance reports using tools like Power BI and Web Intelligence.
• Conduct user training to improve system utilization and efficiency.
• Apply advanced calculations and build robust data visualizations.
• Support corporate business system planning and development.
• Work with external agencies, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in business systems or equivalent expertise.
• Proficiency in Power BI; experience with Windchill is highly desired.
• Skilled in BI Query creation, report development, and data visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of Excel for formulas and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
