About the position

The Data Analyst will perform data analytics to support decision-making for the regional and executive pharmacy team at Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency within pharmacy departments by coordinating fiscal management activities, conducting data analysis, and maintaining departmental statistics and reports. The analyst will also help develop business-related dashboards and statistics relevant to the pharmacy's operations, particularly in purchasing pharmaceutical drugs and negotiating procurement prices.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analytics to support decision-making for pharmacy teams.
• Coordinate fiscal management activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct data analysis and maintain departmental statistics and reports.
• Develop business-related dashboards and relevant statistics for pharmacy operations.
• Engage in data mining and extraction for purchasing pharmaceutical drugs.

Requirements

• Experience with data analysis and trend identification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• SQL Server experience, particularly in querying and importing data.
• Ability to perform data validation and cleansing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (DocuTrack reporting).
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale Systems (QS1 and Pioneer).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working with large data sets.
• Ability to conduct targeted analysis.
