About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at Providence is responsible for designing, creating, and managing business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, project management, and Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication skills. The BI Analyst will enhance the organization's business intelligence capabilities, enabling better decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BI and analytics solutions to convert data into knowledge.
• Manage and maintain data systems and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present data effectively to various audiences.
• Conduct data analysis and statistical representation of data to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 1 year of experience in an analytic or technical role working with multiple data systems.
• Proven experience with database management and statistical representation of data.
• 1 year of experience in programming using SQL.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Background in data warehouse design and data mining.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related field may apply to applicable years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in an analytic or technical role working with multiple data systems.
