About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at Providence St. Joseph Health is responsible for designing, creating, and managing business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, project management, and Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication skills. The BI Analyst will enhance the organization's business intelligence capabilities to support informed decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and create BI and analytics solutions.
• Manage and maintain data systems and analytics tools.
• Analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 1 year of experience in an analytic or technical role working with multiple data systems.
• Proven experience with database management and statistical representation of data.
• 1 year of experience in programming using SQL.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Background in data warehouse design and data mining.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related field may apply to applicable years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in an analytic or technical role working with multiple data systems.
