About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst role focuses on driving initiatives that align with business goals through information delivery and data analytics projects. The position is responsible for ensuring data consistency and governance, maintaining high standards of data quality, and leading the development of solutions for business intelligence, analytics, data visualization, and data warehousing projects. The analyst will collaborate with business leaders to define requirements and develop solutions that provide timely and accurate information to empower business users with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of solutions for business intelligence, analytics, data visualization, and data warehousing projects.
• Ensure data consistency and governance across the organization.
• Maintain high standards of data quality.
• Gather, clean, analyze, visualize, and present data from various sources to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define requirements and assess data availability.
• Develop solutions that provide timely and accurate information.
• Design, analyze, and build reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools.
• Create database tables, objects, assets, and cubes following best practices.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of data.
• Execute ad hoc requests using legacy and next-generation tools.
• Manage user access within legacy and next-generation tools.
• Assist users with user acceptance testing.
• Support team members in their daily use of data systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency with data integration tools and platforms.
• Skilled in using SQL for data retrieval from databases or data warehouses.
• Experienced with scripting in Python for data processing and modeling.
• Proven experience in designing and building data platforms that support data lakes, data stores, and API services.
• Strong analytical abilities to extract, organize, analyze, and interpret data trends or patterns.
• Solid project management skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and SharePoint data structures for querying and data manipulation.
• Expertise in Power BI and Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with maintaining, updating, and configuring software systems and ETL processes.
• Capability to deliver on-time results with accuracy.
• A proactive approach to evaluating, troubleshooting, and implementing opportunities for improved efficiency.
