About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at UCHealth plays a crucial role in enhancing healthcare business intelligence reporting solutions that inform clinical and operational processes. This position is located at UC Health Lowry Admin in Denver, Colorado, and is a full-time role requiring 80 hours per pay period. The analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, abstracting, and delivering data that supports departmental and organizational initiatives. The role demands collaboration with cross-departmental teams to understand and capture data analysis and reporting requirements, ensuring that the metrics and methodologies used are appropriate for the needs of the organization. In this position, the analyst will design advanced data queries based on customer inquiries and needs, extracting, validating, and analyzing the desired data. They will define the scope and format of advanced reports, preparing and presenting these reports and analyses in the requested formats to both internal and external audiences. Additionally, the analyst will support end users by providing training materials and technical assistance as necessary. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential, as the role requires functioning effectively in a fast-paced environment and taking appropriate action when needed. Responsibilities

  • Works with cross-departmental teams to understand and capture data analysis and reporting requirements, including the metrics and methodologies to be used.
