About the position

DIA Associates LLC is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying the business objectives for our clients and transforming these objectives into both qualitative and quantitative analyses. This position requires a deep understanding of economic and statistical data in finance, as well as the ability to perform comprehensive business intelligence analysis. The analyst will conduct research on various economic issues and disseminate findings through technical reports tailored for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial modeling for clients, simulating outcomes, and calculating revenue, costs, and profitability to quantify the economic impact of various scenarios. You will compile, analyze, and report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends, utilizing mathematical models and statistical techniques. Collaboration with clients and external data vendors, such as credit bureaus and online resources, will be essential to gather the necessary information for business analysis. Additionally, you will process data from various sources, including customer characteristics like credit scores and account balances, to analyze client business projects and detect patterns. Your expertise will also be required in executing discrete analyses, such as profiling, segmentation, and modeling, to establish relationships within the data. Finally, you will capture and interpret analysis findings and recommendations, translating them into visually presentable pages and detailed presentations for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify the business objectives for DIA's clients.
• Study economic and statistical data in finance and transform these objectives into qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Perform business intelligence analysis and conduct research on economic issues.
• Disseminate research findings through technical reports offered by clients.
• Conduct financial modeling for clients by simulating outcomes and calculating revenue, cost, and profitability.
• Compile, analyze, and report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends.
• Apply mathematical models and statistical techniques in analysis.
• Work with clients and external data vendors to gather information and data required for business analysis.
• Process data and information gathered from various sources of customer characteristics.
• Analyze client business projects and compile data to detect patterns.
• Provide advice and consultation on economic relationships to businesses.
• Execute discrete analysis such as profiling, segmentation, and modeling.
• Capture and interpret analysis findings and recommendations.
• Translate findings into visually presentable pages and detailed presentations for clients.

Requirements

• Master's degree in data science or an engineering field.
• Two (2) years of experience in data analysis.
• Knowledge of machine learning, Python, Arduino C++, SQL, Optimization, MATLAB, prediction models, sensitivity analysis, neural network algorithms, and statistical models.
