About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at Abound Health plays a crucial role in designing and developing BI solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position involves collaborating with various departments to create intelligent reports, optimize data delivery, and improve overall business reporting efficiency. The analyst will also engage in training sessions to elevate the organization's data analytics capabilities and support machine learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy BI solutions including dashboards and interactive visualizations.
  • Work with leaders across all departments to create and optimize intelligent reports.
  • Reduce overall business reporting time through automation and adoption of self-serve data models.
  • Increase organizational knowledge of data analytics through topical and general training sessions.
  • Provide troubleshooting and assistance for reporting and analytic needs and issues.
  • Dive into machine learning capabilities of existing and new datasets and integrate learnings into existing business model.
  • Improve data delivery methods and cadence.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc data analytic needs.
  • Assist with general FP&A activities as needed.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics.
  • 3+ years of Business Intelligence or data analytics experience with proven experience of creating complex dashboards.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with database technology with an emphasis on the use of analytical and reporting tools.
  • Experience with SQL and developing complex queries.
  • Experience with Microsoft stack of reporting and BI tools (Power BI, Fabric, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
  • Deep understanding of Power BI DAX.
  • Experience in database management, operation, and development (Preferred).
  • Deep understanding of analytical concepts with the ability to explain them to others with less data experience.
  • High level of technical skills with the ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze varying data sets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to be able to work cross-functionally with different departments.
