Cellular Sales is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Business Analytics Manager. This role is pivotal in the development of analytical tools and reports that support the decision-making processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Microsoft suite of Business Intelligence (BI) development tools, including SSRS, Power BI, and Power Automate, and will be adept at extracting relevant data from various sources to produce insightful reports for the executive team. In this position, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for discovering and translating analytical trends within our data to team members in Business Operations. The role requires the ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports that inform business strategies. The analyst must be proficient in creating and peer reviewing SQL queries, with a strong desire to enhance their capabilities in this area. Listening to business needs and converting them into actionable business requirements with minimal direction is essential. The analyst will create new SSRS and Power BI reports based on collected requirements and will maintain existing solutions while actively seeking opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with other team members is crucial to consolidate the data landscape, thereby reducing development time and increasing consistency among BI solutions. The analyst will also track, monitor, and communicate changes in reporting platforms and data sources, providing insights to the larger BI and IT teams. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior BI analysts and participating actively in team meetings to contribute valuable insights that advance team objectives. This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform some filing tasks.
