About the position

Cru is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who will play a crucial role in identifying business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs within the organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about using their skills to support the mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. The BI Analyst will work closely with clients and IT teams to transform data into critical information and knowledge that can inform sound business and ministry decisions. This role involves educating and training clients on how to utilize data as an analytical tool, presenting information in innovative formats for analysis and exploration of options. The BI Analyst will participate in project planning and management, which includes discovering requirements for various projects, developing, testing, and delivering BI reports and dashboards. The role requires maintaining proficiency in the software platforms used for designing and delivering these reports and dashboards. Additionally, the analyst will create and manage analytics dashboards and reports, establishing a foundation for ministry analytics by assisting key stakeholders in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). As a spokesperson and consultant, the BI Analyst will help convey a deeper understanding of BI reports and dashboards to ministry and department leaders. They will also assist subject matter experts from other departments in recognizing the impact and value of content and design strategies through data-driven analysis. Documentation of projects and data sources for future reference is essential, as is proactive thinking about related systems and applications where data is produced, providing feedback to optimize data processes. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining legacy reports and dashboards during transitions of enterprise software.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in business intelligence or data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science.
