About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather requirements, analyze trends, and develop reports that enhance business performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and SQL for effective data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure data integrity and quality throughout projects.
• Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of insights and reporting solutions.
• Document processes and create visual representations of workflows using Visio.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on BI tools and methodologies to enhance data literacy across the organization.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend for data integration processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Knowledge of project management principles to oversee BI initiatives effectively.
• Experience in programming languages such as R or Python is a plus.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts and methodologies, including the ability to vaticinate future trends based on historical data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey insights clearly to stakeholders.
