About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Stowers Service and Product Support Department by focusing on data analytics to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves analyzing service department processes, developing insights through data analysis, and creating comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate data collection and interpretation, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current service department processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct data analysis using Power BI to provide actionable insights for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and trends
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various systems and sources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and objectives for new ERP, CRM, and BI systems
  • Develop, implement, and manage project plans for ERP, CRM, and BI system development
  • Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and best practices
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management to track project progress and outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented systems to identify areas for further optimization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive business decisions
  • Proficiency in Power BI; experience with Microsoft Access and SQL is preferred
  • Advanced skills in data mining techniques and tools such as Python, R, or SAS
  • Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning
  • Experience in data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across various departments and teams
