As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Apple, you will play a crucial role in planning and creating long-term supply and demand forecasts for AppleCare product components and whole units. This position is based in Cupertino, California, with potential opportunities in various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. You will collaborate closely with teams across Global Commodity Management, Engineering, Planning and Procurement, and Worldwide Materials to provide comprehensive Lifetime Supply/Demand analysis, ensuring the availability of service materials for Apple customers. Your responsibilities will include managing the last-time buy planning function within the demand planning organization, ensuring that service parts are available in the right quantities. In this role, you will be responsible for the continued development of processes, which includes gathering consensus with cross-functional teams on the last time buy proposal and securing approval from leadership. You will utilize tools such as Oracle, Snowflake database, Tableau, MS Excel, SAP, and Apple internal tools to create more accurate forecasts, improve tracking of material consumption, and oversee supply/demand dynamics. Additionally, you will perform sensitivity analyses to assess risks related to material excess or shortages, escalate global planning issues to senior management, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions. A key aspect of your role will be to reduce last-time buy costs by identifying alternate parts and/or excess inventory within the supply chain. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, and at Apple, base pay is just one part of the total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is between $180,128 - $201,300 per year, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
