About the position

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst at GoHealth is responsible for mining and analyzing company data to provide valuable insights that inform critical business decisions. This role supports executive leadership with analytical insights to promote strategic decisions and maximize company-wide value, responding to business needs and creating solutions as questions arise.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand GoHealth's business processes and the role of each department in supporting company goals.
• Work with leaders to identify value drivers and challenges within their departments, determining key metrics and insights for performance improvement.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau for business leaders to interpret and apply insights effectively.
• Collect and evaluate data to track project performance and significant developments.
• Summarize raw data into digestible and applicable information.
• Explore innovative ways that data-based insights can support GoHealth.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, Business Intelligence analytics, MIS, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience guiding strategic decisions using data and analytics.
• Ability to digest ambiguous asks and translate them into an actionable plan.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience conveying complex concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of analytical knowledge.
• Desire to expand analytical and data visualization skills, including SQL, Python, and Tableau.
