About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst at CBRE is responsible for enhancing client data and processes by understanding business needs and interpreting data. This role is part of the Data Science & Analytics function, focusing on reviewing data to improve effectiveness and predict outcomes, ultimately developing business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports using data from multiple sources to understand trends in data.
• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from stakeholders.
• Build applications used to collect and display data to customers.
• Identify opportunities for improvements among the clients and company.
• Assist with the coordination involving personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work as an individual and with teams, as needed.
• Follow an agile framework to plan, organize and communicate work.
• Become a subject matter expert on topics related to commercial real estate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle with a focus on collecting business requirements and user acceptance testing.
• Ability to lead meetings and present key findings to stakeholders.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio or similar.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
