About the position

The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Lead at ITE Management is responsible for leading a team of data analysts and engineers to enhance data processes and generate actionable insights. This role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions, manage projects, and ensure data quality and governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of business intelligence and data analysts, and data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Prioritize, lead, and manage business, data, and data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Work closely with the CTO to develop and implement data and data analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify needs, develop solutions, and present findings.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Broad experience with data manipulation and analysis (SQL and e.g. Python, R, etc.).
• High proficiency with business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ELT processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organized with good project management skills.
• Strong understanding of data governance and quality principles.
• Familiarity with cloud-based business intelligence and data analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience working in the financial industry - real assets a plus.
