About the position

The Business Intelligence Architect at Veralto will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and enhancing the BI infrastructure within a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. This position involves collaboration with key stakeholders and the Global Data Governance team to drive impactful business solutions through data. The role focuses on managing Power BI solutions and ensuring the scalability, security, and sustainability of BI systems, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of safeguarding vital resources like water.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Warehouse, Integration, MDM, and Analytics teams on design and implementation of end-to-end BI and analytical solutions.
• Manage Power BI Premium Capacities and the Power BI / Fabric environment to drive BI Solutions and automate processes.
• Write complex DAX and optimize DAX, working with large amounts of data.
• Build and manage Power BI Semantic Models that serve as a consistent source of data.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and sustainability of BI solutions.
• Balance new development projects with ongoing reporting and support needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with relational and dimensional modeling, Power BI / Fabric, and Power BI Premium Capacities.
• Expert level on DAX and Power Query.
• Experience utilizing the Power BI XMLA end point, tabular editor, Dax Studio.
• Intermediate knowledge of JSON, PowerShell, and SQL.
