About the position
The Business Intelligence Architect at Veralto will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and enhancing the BI infrastructure within a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. This position focuses on leveraging data to drive impactful business solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and sustainability of BI solutions while collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and the Global Data Governance team to design and implement BI infrastructure.
- Manage Power BI Premium Capacities and the Power BI / Fabric environment to drive BI solutions.
- Write complex DAX and optimize DAX for large datasets.
- Build and manage Power BI Semantic Models as a consistent data source.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and sustainability of BI solutions.
- Balance new development projects with ongoing reporting and support needs.
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with relational and dimensional modeling, Power BI / Fabric, and Power BI Premium Capacities.
- Expert level on DAX and Power Query.
- Experience utilizing the Power BI XMLA end point, tabular editor, Dax Studio.
- Intermediate knowledge of JSON, PowerShell, and SQL.
