About the position

The position is a critical role within WEX Inc.'s Global Credit Strategy & Governance team, focusing on risk management and analytical functions related to lending processes. The successful candidate will leverage internal and external data to provide insights into credit portfolios, monitor key risk metrics, and support revenue growth while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the WEX analytical community to ensure data availability for reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the commercial engagement team, LOBs, and risk functions to identify KPI/KRIs.
• Leverage SQL and Python to query existing data and run analyses on WEX data and models.
• Develop dashboards and packaged reporting for delivery to key stakeholders.
• Monitor KPI/KRI universe and set standards for reporting.
• Pair reporting with business activities to provide context and drive actionable outcomes.
• Support constant reporting requirements for regulators and other internal stakeholders in collaboration with Senior Analysts.
• Prepare reporting for management with strategic recommendations and action plans.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a risk and/or financial analyst.
• 2+ years of experience within the lending credit management lifecycle.
• 2+ years of analytics experience with a proven track record of using quantitative analysis to impact business decisions.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to create presentations and explain analysis results clearly.
