About the position

monday.com is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst to join the North American Finance team in New York City. This hybrid role involves transforming raw financial data into actionable insights, ensuring data availability for stakeholders, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and supporting informed decision-making to facilitate the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw financial data into actionable insights.
• Ensure seamless availability of data to stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with all tax regulations and business obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data.
• Review data to ensure the integrity of data collection and utilization.
• Work closely with finance professionals and other teams such as business/product analytics and BI engineering.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong experience in BI development and data modeling using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or ETL.
• Excellent understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for report/dashboard development.
