About the position

As a Business Intelligence Developer in the Cloud Finance team at Google, you will leverage data to inform business and product decisions. Your role will involve building tools to automate reporting and generate insights, ensuring high-quality data delivery to support financial analytics and decision-making processes. You will work on projects from inception to delivery, focusing on financial systems and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain data solutions, data marts, pipelines, and dashboards for Cloud Finance.
• Build insightful, accurate, and production-level financial reporting infrastructures.
• Utilize innovative Google technologies to deliver scalable forecasting and what-if modeling solutions.
• Support Finance colleagues in their processes and teach them how to use various analytical tools.
• Automate existing financial models and processes, and present technical analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Quantitative Analysis.
• Experience in Programming and SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building Business Intelligence/Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) solutions using SQL or similar query language.
• Experience building and maintaining Machine Learning models for forecasting and outlier detection purposes.
• Experience developing, running, and working with Big Data pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
