About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer role at MFour Mobile Research focuses on creating and managing end-to-end dashboard solutions that provide insights into consumer behavior. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently on multiple projects while delivering high-quality results. The developer will collaborate closely with the Data Engineering team to update data schemas and redesign data marts to meet new reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Business Intelligence solutions using Snowflake and BI tools like Sigma/Tableau.
  • Perform data analysis and integration using SQL and Business Intelligence.
  • Validate dashboards to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Analyze data to discover meaningful relationships, anomalies, and trends.
  • Identify data quality challenges and recommend changes or improvements.
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Work with data engineers to design and develop reporting tables based on source data.

Requirements

  • Experience in designing, building, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
  • In-depth understanding of Snowflake Cloud technology and its multi-cluster capabilities.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to develop optimized complex queries in Snowflake.
  • Experience working with large datasets in Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of best practices for BI calculations and database queries/structure.
  • Experience in data validation and quality assurance for BI projects.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing techniques, including dimensional data modeling and ETL processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Google Sheets and Excel formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills.
