About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer III is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex healthcare operations data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves collaborating with business unit teams to develop analytics solutions and insights that facilitate reliable decision-making through reports, analyses, and advanced data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist in the development of Analytics solutions
• Assist in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision-making, efficiency, and performance
• Communicate with nontechnical end users to determine specific business requirements for data solutions
• Identify, communicate, and resolve data quality and data reconciliation issues
• Develop and enforce standards and procedures for Analytics content
• Work collaboratively with institutional staff and reporting officials to resolve data discrepancies and/or clarify reporting procedures
• Process data extracts using data retrieval and management tools
• Build effective partnerships with coworkers throughout the health system by sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed
• Ensure optimum service to all internal and external partners in response to requests for service and information
• Establish and maintain effective collaborative and cooperative working relationships with all segments of the health system and its community
• Assist in other duties as assigned
• Protect both business and patient confidentiality
• Develop documentation to support all program development and update activities; maintain support information repository as required
• Follow published Production Change Management practices for all updates to production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, statistics, healthcare informatics, data science or Equivalent Education
• 3+ years of relevant business intelligence analytics and support experience
• Advanced Certifications preferred
