About the position

As a Business Intelligence Developer based in Nashville, TN, you will leverage your strong expertise in business analytics to develop and maintain reports and dashboards that serve analytic product owners and their stakeholders in the North American market. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain dashboards using PowerBI and generate reports in Excel, ensuring that these tools effectively meet the needs of the users. You will work collaboratively within a Product team that includes Product Owners and Data Engineers to design and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports. This involves creating wireframes and conducting walkthroughs with end-users and stakeholders prior to the development phase to ensure alignment with their requirements. You will also be responsible for prioritizing and quickly resolving any break/fix issues that arise during the product lifecycle. Documentation is a key aspect of your role; you will create comprehensive documentation for administration and support resources to facilitate proper maintenance of the analytic products post-delivery. Additionally, you will support training and adoption efforts by developing job aids, FAQ documents, and other training materials to enhance user understanding and engagement with the analytic tools. Monitoring the adoption of analytic products and ensuring their performance and efficiency will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. Staying current with the latest Azure technologies in business intelligence and automation will be essential to your success in this role, as you will be expected to integrate these advancements into your work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports in PowerBI and Excel.
  • Create wireframes and perform walkthroughs with end-users and stakeholders prior to development.
  • Work with the Product Team to prioritize and quickly resolve break/fix issues.
  • Create documentation for administration and Tier 1 and Tier 2 support resources.
  • Support training and adoption resources in the development of job aids, FAQ documents, and other training materials/assets.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of analytic products and applications.
  • Monitor analytic product adoption and ensure performance and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Azure technologies in business intelligence and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, mathematics, economics, statistics or a related field.
  • 4+ years delivering analytic solutions such as dashboards or reports in PowerBI.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services and Sharepoint.
  • Experience with data processing languages such as PowerQuery, DAX, and SQL.
  • Experience with agile methodologies on Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Healthcare or Medical Technology Sectors.
  • Experience with Azure AI services.
  • Experience with Python and Scala.
  • Experience with PowerAutomate and PowerApps or other no-code/low-code platforms or automation platforms such as UI Path.
