About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer role at Premise Health focuses on developing and supporting reporting solutions that leverage Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and supplemental data. This position is integral to the Business Intelligence team, emphasizing data integrity, process standardization, and high-quality reporting and analytics to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate complex reports and dashboards supporting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with internal business users and clients to deliver exceptional reporting solutions.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise on metric development, visualization creation, and database design.
• Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of reporting processes and standards.
• Troubleshoot data quality opportunities and track them through to resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience developing and supporting reporting deliverables in enterprise level environments, or at least 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards with data visualization products such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Ability to write and leverage SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration (SSIS) and Reporting (SSRS) Services.
• Experience with query performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience managing and deploying code changes in production environments in team and limited supervision settings.
• Experience diagnosing, isolating, and implementing strategies to resolve data quality issues.
• Comfortable working with large, cross-functional groups of stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing requirements, determining work estimates, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience developing reporting solutions with Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting.
• Experience with associative data modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data.
• Experience with web technologies.
