About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer Specialist role focuses on leveraging data analytics tools to support business intelligence initiatives within the US Delivery Center. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical specification development, and the creation of data visualizations to drive insights and decision-making. Responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners regarding data systems and management.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, defining details and requirements of applications and enhancements.
• Participate in project planning, identifying milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements, while tracking activities and task execution.
• Generate design, development, test plans, detailed functional specifications documents, user interface design, and process flow charts for programming execution.
• Develop data visualizations using PowerBI, IBM Cognos, and Tableau.
• Support shared services data warehouse and business intelligence team in gathering requirements, developing, testing, and supporting business intelligence tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with data analytics tools including IBM Cognos, Power BI, and Tableau.
• 3+ years of experience developing, testing, and supporting business intelligence tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform Certification.
• Master's degree or higher.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages, preferably Scala, PySpark, and/or Python.
• Experience working with either a Map Reduce or an MPP system.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum.
