About the position

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to identify and solve problems within the data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL and .Net, and will work closely with architects, analytics/reporting developers, and end users to understand data integration requirements. This role supports both existing and new reporting/analytics capabilities in a large Clinical Data Warehouse environment, requiring hands-on technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop code that supports data integration among clinical systems to the enterprise data warehouse.
• Adhere to and contribute to coding standards for the team, participating in regular code reviews and requirements gathering.
• Support the production environment on a rotating basis, responding to production incidents and working incident tickets to resolution.
• Create and maintain system and code documentation according to established standards.
• Perform deployment activities to promote new or updated code from Dev to UAT, and UAT to Production.
• Create and execute test cases for new or updated code before deployment to production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
