A Snapshot of Your Day As a Business Intelligence ETL Developer, you will engage in daily activities such as collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define project objectives. You will design and develop ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse. You'll perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency, monitor ETL jobs, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure smooth operation. Also, you will be able to document ETL processes and update documentation as needed to maintain comprehensive records of data integration procedures. How You ll Make an Impact: Data, Reporting and Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand data requirements and objectives. Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage. Contribute to developing data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. ETL Development Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand data requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage.
  • Contribute to developing data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence ETL Developer or in a similar role, with expertise in ETL tools such as SAP BODS and SAP BW.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in relational database concepts.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data visualization, and BI tools.
