About the position

As the Business Intelligence Developer for the executive offices at ENT Specialty Partners, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the reporting needs in a timely manner, analyzing and understanding data, and providing solutions for business processes and workflows that will lead to better business integration. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence reports, primarily using Tableau and Power BI. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the reports meet their needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for unit testing and documenting the validation of reports against source systems, as well as implementing Tableau security based on user roles. In this role, you will be expected to have a strong knowledge of data modeling and data preparation, which includes discovery, structuring, cleaning, enriching, validation, and publishing of data. You will need to possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as effective time management skills. Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders across the organization. The ability to self-manage, be highly self-motivated, and work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, is crucial for success in this position. You will also need to be adaptable to changing priorities and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain BI reports.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Develop reports mainly in Tableau & Power BI.
  • Unit test and document validation of the reports with source systems.
  • Implement Tableau security based on user roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Business Intelligence developer or Data Analyst role.
  • Strong SQL skills including joins, queries, and select statements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies for development projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft SSIS, Python, or C# is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge about data modeling and data preparation (discovery, structuring, cleaning, enriching, validation, publishing).
  • Experience with data science techniques.
