About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer (BID) is responsible for developing and implementing data solutions that assist business teams in making informed decisions. This role focuses on creating reports and dashboards using various BI tools and methodologies, ultimately contributing to the organization's mission of enhancing community health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Develop projects using complex T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).
• Assist business teams in making critical decisions through report/dashboard development.
• Create processes and lead initiatives for new data solutions and Operational Data Store (ODS).
• Build ETL processes to convert data solutions into Data Marts for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Provide post-Go Live support to identify data quality issues and implement fixes.
• Mentor the Business Intelligence team on project development cycles and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Report Developers to create visual representations of data using analytical tools.
• Provide project status updates and prepare monthly project scorecard reports.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and professional societies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 7-10 years of experience in IT.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• 7-10 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) and Visual Studios Data Tools.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse/Solution Design and Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology).
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Certifications
• Experience with analytical report/dashboard tools like Pyramid Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Analytics/OLAP Cube and Tabular Models tools.
• Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools.
