About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer role at MRA involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support business operations. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to analyze data needs and provide actionable insights through reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data visualization tools and database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business operations.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and analyze their data needs and provide insights through detailed reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuously improve performance of BI tools and reports to ensure they meet business requirements efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all BI processes, solutions, and data models.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring they understand how to use BI tools effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in BI development or a similar role.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Familiarity and experience with Excel, Access, VBA, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Ability to work with APIs and integrate data from various sources.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical terms into business insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and clarity.
