About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at Concord is responsible for data preparation and dashboard development, focusing on transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role requires strong SQL and Python skills, along with experience in creating visually compelling dashboards. The developer will work within a hybrid model, contributing to the BI team to enhance customer experiences and optimize operations through effective data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain customized SQL queries to build reporting data structures.
• Build and maintain database architecture, optimizing queries, data pipelines, and automation workflows.
• Validate data to identify and document gaps between available data and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement data transformation processes (ETL) using tools like Databricks or Alteryx.
• Leverage expertise in cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or in similar roles.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Strong technical skills in database management systems and BI technologies such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Qlik.
• Experience in developing and implementing data transformation via ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ETL software such as Databricks and/or Alteryx.
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions like AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in analytics or relational database systems such as Redshift, Vertica, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both as a team and independently.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
