About the position

ProScan Imaging is seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Developer at our Corporate Headquarters location in Cincinnati, OH. This position is primarily in-office with some remote-work flexibility. The BI Developer demonstrates strong technical skills, an analytical mindset, innovation, and effective communication. A deep understanding of data analysis, data warehouse design, and ETL frameworks is essential to deliver high-quality results and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics support for business users by planning, building, and maintaining automated data pipelines for live dashboards.
• Evaluate business initiatives to identify required data then research and map relational database queries to ingest source data into the BI platform.
• Apply knowledge of Proscan business operations to clean data and apply relevant transformations and aggregations.
• Collaborate with the BI department lead to improve efficiencies in data processing, support business users, and manage BI growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or other applicable analytics, engineering, or computer science major.
• 4+ years experience in business intelligence, data aggregation & reporting, or data science.
• Experience with complex SQL select statements, joins, and aggregations.
• Comprehension of relational data models.
• Experience manipulating datasets in a data programming language (R, Python, etc.).
• High comprehension of data ETL processes, data quality analysis, record update logic.
• Ability to own a development request throughout the analytics project lifecycle.
• Experience generating detailed reports and delivering a summary of findings in both spreadsheet and presentation form.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with a node-based data prep software (e.g., Alteryx, Domo, Talend, Tableau Prep Builder).
• Experience with data infrastructure tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS).
