As a Business Intelligence Developer at EvergreenHealth, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that focus on data within the Epic ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of the data needs of clinical and operational stakeholders, as you will work closely with them to deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve patient care. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Epic's reporting tools such as SlicerDicer, Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, and Workbench. You will be involved in the entire report development life cycle, from requirements gathering to post-production support, ensuring that the solutions you create are effective and user-friendly. In this role, you will also provide training and support to end users on BI tools and reports, ensuring that they can effectively utilize the solutions you develop. Your expertise in building and maintaining custom data models, SlicerDicer filters, and SQL templates will be essential as you troubleshoot issues and optimize queries. You will be expected to have demonstrable advanced SQL skills, adept at creating and maintaining SQL stored procedures, views, and queries to extract and report on Clarity and Caboodle datasets. Additionally, you will join the Clinical Analytics team and collaborate with key clinical and business leaders to develop data analysis solutions and visualizations that optimize organizational performance. This includes configuring and testing Epic-released content, creating content to display Epic data, and maintaining the Analytics Catalog. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining data cubes, data extracts, and any third-party BI tools, while working with business stakeholders to define ongoing data and analytics requirements. Your ability to present solutions to multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience will be vital for success in this position.
