About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at Interclypse, Inc. is responsible for developing and operating business intelligence platforms, tools, and reports. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, ETL processes, and dashboards to support the modernization and sustainment of critical systems for Maryland state agencies. The position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that BI solutions meet their needs, while also fostering a growth mindset culture that empowers employees to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions, ETL processes, and dashboards.
• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to ensure the BI solution meets needs.
• Develop data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Implement ETL processes to analyze data from various source systems and data formats.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand requirements and objectives.
• Administer testing and troubleshooting.
• Create and update documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience as a BI Developer.
• Experience as a BI developer or similar role with a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with BI tools/software.
• Possess a strong understanding of data warehouse, data lakehouse, and data mart concepts.
