At Solventum, we enable better, smarter, safer healthcare to improve lives. As a new company with a long legacy of creating breakthrough solutions for our customers' toughest challenges, we pioneer game-changing innovations at the intersection of health, material, and data science that change patients' lives for the better while enabling healthcare professionals to perform at their best. Because people, and their wellbeing, are at the heart of every scientific advancement we pursue. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will provide hands-on development and direction to agile product teams for cloud-based Business Intelligence solutions. In this role, you will design and develop solutions for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team, developing initiatives to expose data and build dashboards for healthcare customers. You will assist in the Business Intelligence design efforts of new project initiatives, including meeting with subject matter experts on data, profiling data, and prototyping. Implementing report and dashboard best practices with internal technical teams and the AWS support team will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with business partners and other technical staff to understand functional requirements and create system requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. Supporting various stakeholders to ensure consistency within the environment, release management, and the effective use of standards and best practices will be essential. You will create document style (RSD) reporting, including the creation of Narrowcast services for automated report delivery. Partnering with the Business team, System Architects, Data Architects, and DBAs to resolve reporting inefficiencies will also be part of your role. You will actively participate in requirements gathering sessions and ongoing best-practice definition discussions, assist and mentor less experienced colleagues, and practice and advocate fundamental engineering techniques, discipline, and best practices including requirements development, planning and estimation, configuration management, performance testing, and quality assurance. Finally, you will provide operational product support and problem resolution through root cause analysis and other troubleshooting techniques.
