About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at BJC HealthCare is responsible for identifying and solving problems within the data warehouse, focusing on enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities. This role involves hands-on development work, collaborating with architects and end users to understand data integration requirements and deliver production code using standard toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop code to support data integration from clinical systems to the enterprise data warehouse.
• Adhere to coding standards and participate in regular code reviews and requirements gathering.
• Support the production environment by responding to incidents and resolving incident tickets.
• Create and maintain system and code documentation according to team standards.
• Perform deployment activities to promote code from Development to UAT and Production environments.
• Create and execute test cases for new or updated code before deployment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a related field required.
• Experience with SQL and .Net is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
