About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer will work remotely for a large mortgage finance public entity, focusing on data analysis, visualization, and management. The role involves developing analytics solutions, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to data science proposals, with an emphasis on both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis of structured and unstructured data.
• Build creative data visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop scalable, reproducible, and effective analytics solutions.
• Mentor junior staff in data management and analysis best practices.
• Contribute to technical responses for data science proposals.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of total experience in data analysis including data preprocessing, data visualization, and data management.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience developing in Tableau and Tableau Server.
• Experience programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS data management services.
• Experience implementing version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience with exploratory data analysis.

• Preferred experience in a financial environment.
