About the position

The IT Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at Signature Systems is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide valuable insights into the organization's data. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders and IT professionals to ensure the successful implementation of BI projects, ultimately aiding the organization in making informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing database schemas in MS SQL (Azure and On Prem)
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries, developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Ensuring data quality and consistency
• Developing and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
• Designing and implementing data models to support business intelligence and analytics
• Optimizing queries and data processes for efficient access to information
• Gathering requirements from business stakeholders
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive BI solutions
• Creating and maintaining documentation for BI solutions
• Providing training and support to end-users for effective use of BI tools and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role
• Proficient in SQL, EDW, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices

Nice-to-haves

• Complete lifecycle EDW development in MS SQL server
• Experience with Business Intelligence concepts and techniques
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI
