About the position

ITnova is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer with extensive experience in Cognos BI architecture, design, and security implementation. The role focuses on data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes, requiring proficiency in Cognos tools and data visualization techniques. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication skills to effectively present data insights to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Cognos BI architecture and security measures.
• Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes.
• Utilize Cognos tools such as Framework Manager and Report Studio for report development.
• Apply data visualization best practices to create insightful reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and present findings effectively.
• Optimize Cognos performance and monitor system health.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Cognos BI architecture and design.
• Proficient in data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong skills in SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Azure analysis services.
• Experience with scripting and SDKs to enhance Cognos capabilities.
