About the position

The MSBI Developer position at Tekgence involves working on a long-term project focused on the design, development, and implementation of business logic in databases and data warehouses. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and its associated services, with a focus on ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement business logic in databases, DataMart, and data warehouse.
• Write and debug complex stored procedures, cursors, triggers, and user-defined functions.
• Implement and design Star Schema and Snowflake Schema dimensional models.
• Support the entire data warehouse development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction during project delivery.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.
• Manage client relationships and support business development efforts.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2019).
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Extensive experience in writing and debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Good understanding of MSBI architecture and Microsoft SQL Server architecture.
• Experience in data warehouse and data mart development lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SDLC/AGILE methodologies.
• Prior experience in end-to-end BI implementation projects.
• Understanding of Onshore-Offshore model.
