About the position

DSA is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer/Visualization Solution Developer to join the Miltech Team. This role involves creating data visualization solutions and dashboards based on key performance indicators, utilizing M365, Power BI, and Azure for data modeling and visualizations. The position offers flexibility with remote work, but the selected candidate must be commutable to Aberdeen Proving Grounds for occasional in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Creation of data visualization solutions including dashboards/Business Intelligence (BI) based on key performance indicators
• Utilization of M365, Power BI, Azure capabilities for data modeling and visualizations
• Building data environment to support existing and emerging data visualization and metrics requirements
• Working with customers to define and document requirements
• Stakeholder communications including formal and informal presentations
• Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules
• User training, provisioning, and management of solutions created

Requirements

• Experience with M365, Power BI
• Knowledge of the SharePoint App Model/Add In Model and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Minimum three years of professional experience supporting technology delivery to commercial or government clients
• Minimum three years of experience in data visualization or business intelligence
• Proven ability to participate in the analysis of IT and business issues
• Proven experience to indicate a record of information security awareness and discipline in information systems development and sustainment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure and M365 data solutions including Dataverse
• Experience supporting BI efforts in the US Army unclassified network or DoD environment
• Experience using project management tools e.g. MS Project and JIRA
• Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models
• Experience with MS Power Suite, including Power Apps and Power Automate
