About the position

The Business Intelligence Engineer II role at Amazon involves joining a global reliability team to analyze data and provide recommendations that enhance service delivery within the Amazon network. Responsibilities

• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for the RME team.
• Collaborate with PMs and BI Managers to enhance service delivery.
• Work with large-scale data warehouse environments to extract and analyze data.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to interpret complex datasets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
• Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis packages like R, SAS, and Matlab.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and Python scripting for data processing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Background in data mining and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
